More than a language. A connection with Karnataka.

Kannadaparichaya is a language-learning and cultural initiative by Thvisha Ventures, founded by Navya S. Karanth.

Our aim is to help people learn Kannada while gaining a deeper understanding of Karnataka and its way of life. We offer structured online courses that develop practical communication skills, teach you to read and write Kannada, and make you more comfortable using the language in everyday situations.

A note on our name: Kannadaparichaya was earlier known as Kannad alla Kannada. Our Instagram handle still carries the earlier name (@kannad_alla_kannada), so look for that if you're searching for us there.

But our vision goes beyond language instruction. Learning a language is also an opportunity to understand the culture behind it: local food and festivals, traditions, customs, regional expressions and everyday lifestyle. We want learners to discover Karnataka beyond the words they learn.

Meet Navya S. Karanth

Founder & Trainer, Thvisha Ventures

Navya S. Karanth is the founder and trainer behind Kannadaparichaya, a learning initiative that brings together practical Kannada learning and cultural discovery. With over six years of training experience, she has worked with learners who want to communicate more confidently in Kannada and connect better with the place they live in.

Her vision goes beyond teaching people to speak or read a language. She believes learning Kannada can be an opportunity to understand Karnataka more deeply: to discover its traditions, appreciate its food, learn about its festivals and become familiar with its culture and everyday lifestyle.

For Navya, language is more than a subject to study. It is a bridge between people, experiences and cultures.
